Day 19 - Off to Africa

Decided to get some exercise and look around Farnham today.  Pat dropped me off at the local leisure centre so I could have a swim, then had lunch in a cafe in the main street. I am really noticing that I am back in the land of driving on the right hand side of the road, and how green it is in the UK.  Magnolias coming out, blossoms already blooming which is lovely.  Walked back to the Yardarm (Olly and Pat's house), took about 40 minutes then packed ready for Morocco.  Pat's best mate Nick is in town from Melbourne for work so the four of us met at a pub for a drink before Olly dropped me off at Heathrow.

Flight to Cassablanca not really eventful except for a stunning sunset.  Very excited about being back in Africa, and visiting my 29th country!! 

Transfer for hotel was at the airport so had a 30 minute drive into Cassablanca city with a driver who had limited English.  Checking into the hotel, I was told I was going on a 3 hour tour the next day and had to pay a certain amount of money for it.  I was thinking of going to visit Hussan II mosque anyway, and that was on the tour, so agreed.  I then met a fellow Australian - Mardie from Walgett in NSW, in her 50s, who left her husband behind and decided to come to Morocco.  She was going to come on the tour with me the next day, and will be on my full Morocco tour which is great (sorry for bad english, very tired and as I said, difficult using a keyboard with Arabic symbols!!
