Had the best sleep ever, feeling a million dollars. Breakfast then some internet before off in the mini-van.
First stop was a movie set - really tacky with Egyptian statues and not really interested in going in.
Next stop was Association Horizon des Handicapes, an organisation sponsored by Intrepid - the tour group I am travelling with. We were shown around the facility where they supported people with disabilities with prosthetic limbs (moulds made in Morocco and other parts imported from Europe), schooling for children with a disability who can't attend mainstream school, and craft projects people with a disability are employed to produce. Simply fascinating. A number of us bought items from the shop - I got a great pair of earrings.
Next stop was a supermarket to buy food and alcohol (for that evening) for a picnic. It took 3 tries before we found a good picnic spot under palm trees - first spot was dangerous because too many broken beer bottles (very sad to see), second spot was near a stone hut that 2 dogs were protecting. Third spot was beside a small stream that was teeming with frogs. Our tour leader made frog noises and they popped up out of the water - very funny moment.
Picnic consisted of freshly baked bread rolls, cheese, tuna, green olives, mortadella meat, tomato and for some of us, a beer.
We then had a considerable drive through the Draa Valley to our accommodation for the night in Zagora but it was worth it all as the views were incredible and when we arrived as there was a big cool pool to swim in that refreshed us all.
Quiet evening for all of us - dinner, couple of drinks by the pool. I had an early night (or at least hoped to have an early night) but there seemed to be a few disagreements between people staying at the motel, involving loud discussion and doors being shut loudly.
