We had seriously contemplated going back to Paradise today but then thought the better of it. Instead we were up fairly early to wander around Trogier old town to really look carefully at the buildings and laneways, and take photos. It is such a gorgeous town, best place so far in Croatia I have seen.
We had the usual cup of machiato, the large size, then wandered back to the hotel. Í'm trying to catch up on the blog and downloading photos before moving on. Another traveller said how he lost his camera on his trip but luckily was backing his photos on a laptop along the way so didn't loose much - it was a reminder to me why I spend so much time on the computer!
Early afternoon we headed off on the little boat to the local beach (Jadran) for a swim as it was so hot. It is also very windy today so the water was really choppy. On the boat trip a number of people got quite wet which was very entertaining - they didn't seem to mind because of the heat (about 35c). I think Al and I are trying to make the most of our beach time as as we move onto Dubrovnik tomorrow and will be busy exploring that town. Everyone raves about it so we are both excited. It is also fascinating as it was the most bombed of all the towns in Croatia during the Yugoslavia War in the early 1990s. Can't believe of all the towns I have been to along the way that suffered because of war, Dubrovnik will be the most recently affected.
