Day 47 - Pre-wedding jitters

I can't believe the day has finally arrived...after all the organising and build up, tomorrow is Will and Kate's wedding.  How exciting!!

Olly spent the day working from home whilst I did loads of washing and packing.  I have booked accommodation in Istanbul for 5 days in mid May, just have to book my flights now.

The afternoon was spent corresponding with the other gals who are attending the wedding with us on what to wear...a very important decision.

Late afternoon and Olly, Yvonne (another Aussie living in the UK) and I headed into Clapham, where a friend of theirs lives...he is in India at the moment but was happy to leave his large home to his friends for usage for the wedding.  At Clapham we met Natalie and her daughter who are also part of our wedding contingent.  You can feel the excitement on the streets, bunting up in shop windows and the front windows of homes, and people at the pub planning events for the next day.  A lot of the English (and those living in England) are very thankful for the public holiday, especially as the Monday is also a bank holiday.  Fingers crossed the weather is good.
