Day 49 - the Aftermath

We had a well deserved sleep in and slow start to the day before Olly, Yvonne and I headed back to Farnhamn (after a quick late breakfast in Clapham).  We keep looking through our photos and pinch ourselves that we were actually at the wedding.

Once back in Farnham Olly and I went out to do food shopping and to the local nursery.  I keep counting my blessings that I have experienced such beautiful weather to day in the UK.

Yvonne came over for dinner and I cooked.  We keep watching recaps of the wedding on tv.

Note: I heard about an explosion at Djemma El-Fna in Marrakesh on Thursday but didn't want to believe it was a bomb.  It is hard to reconcile that I was there just over a week ago.  People from my tour and I are trying to get in touch with one of the passengers who stayed on in Marrakesh longer, and our tour leader.  We hope they are ok.  It upsets me that Morocco might now be impacted on in relation to tourism - all the guides, camel drivers, 4WD drivers, hotel owners and staff, shop staff and restaurant staff are so dependent on the tourist dollar for their well being.
