Day 145 - Chillaxing in a hot spring

Breakfast then I raced out the door to the Thermae Springs, the main day spa here in Bath.  I had not booked a treatment, and had been told if I arrived at 9am, I might be able to get something if there were any cancellations.  Unfortunately it was not the case, but I could still enjoy the thermal pools.  One is on the roof, so you get to swim in the warm water and enjoy the spa, whilst watching the birds fly over the roofs of the buildings, and feel the sun getting warmer.  I spent 2 hours at the day spa, it was so relaxing!  It is like soaking in a really warm bath, then using the spa for a good massage.

I had contemplated going to Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Bath for lunch (it has an italian focus), but I really was not hungry and did not want to eat for the sake of it.  Instead, I checked out of the Griffin Inn and headed to the train station.  I needed to make my way back to Farnham, and just as well I got to the station early, as delays in trains meant that it took nearly 5 hours to get to Olly's!!!  Just as well I wasn't in a rush to get anywhere.

I spent the evening doing washing, downloading photos and catching up on my blog.  I really am getting into the UK soaps over here....good quality British drama (hehehe).
